Abstract: This project is designed to critically analyze using distribution reliability performance indices with available projection system and the network configuration in conjunction with statistical data on the likely fault occurrence in estimating the overall reliability of supply to the consumer. It describes the relationship -between the perceived power quality, distribution reliability and interruption indices. After which an overview of the system reliability in Minna-metropolis is determined using interruption indices with a probabilistic model as a benchmark. And finally give an overview of the measures necessary in order to decrease the interruption indices.
