Title: 1 ANALYSIS OF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS DIFFICULTIES ON MATHEMATICS GEOMETRICAL CONSTRUCTION IN MINNA METROPOLIS

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze senior secondary school maths student’s difficulties in geometrical construction in Minna metropolis. This study is based on descriptive survey design. The participant of this study consists of five senior secondary school students’ selected from the equivalent secondary schools in Minna metropolis. Balloting random sampling was use to select two hundred students (200), forty students (40) from each selected schools, one hundred male students (100) and one hundred female students (100). The instrument used for the study was questionnaire, which include student’s bio-data in section A and twenty (20) items in section B. The reliability of the instrument is r=0.783.Three research question and three hypotheses was used for the research. The result of the study was analyzing using frequency distribution
