3.92 ± 1.29g were fed five diets foffifty six (56) day~Hn 15 30 x 60 x 30cITuectanguiar aquarium
tanks. The experiment was conducted to utilize .melon shell meal in fish feed as energy source.
The fingerlings were stocked in fifteen different 30 x60 x30 aquarium tanks or a density of 15,
fish per,tank using 20 litters volume of watet. Data on: weight increments of the fish were taken
on wee\dy basis. At the end of the experiment, tl1e 'result showed there were significant
differences in the' growth parameters among the diets. fed to the maize meal feed, 'This indicates
that diet 3 with 50% maize-melon shell meal compare favorably with diet 1, with 0% melon shell
in terms of cost, melon shell meal costs less than: maize meal.|
