|Abstract: ||The kinetic study of adsorption of Zinc and Lead cations on
manganese (iv) oxide was performed using the graphical and
differential method of analyzing a rate-equation.
At a higher concentration of about 0.023mol/dm3 and cation
concentration of 1.0mol/dm3 the rate of disappearance of
~C!nganese (iv) oxide is high with value of 5.750 mol/dm3 min but .
at same con-centration of cations and lower concentration of the
depolarizer the rate decreases rapidly.
The rate of disappearance of mangan~se IV oxide for both
overall cell reaction without cations and with cations is derived to
be - rA= 7.2464C/ and -rA=10.869 x 103 CA2 Co with CA and CD .
as concentration of the depolarizer and cations respectively.
The order of overall cell reaction without the cation is second
or.der and with the cation$ to be third order overall.|
