Abstract: This work begins with the description of children library in the field of librarianship. It also looked into view of eminent scholars in the field which gives the present state of the Art of children information services as a means of educational improvement. The work principally centers on the children section of the Nasarawa State public library board. In which two set of questionnaires and observation were used to obtain the information from the library staff and children, which shows by result revelation that library and information resources and services renders to children are inadequate.The study indicated that the children library section requires resources and better services . Therefore, useful suggestion and recommendation as offered: The library board managements should strive harder to provide information resources in wider scope and training more librarians for better children services.
